We are pleased to announce the line up for second edition of the festival. On Friday, Walter "Wolfman" Washington, Laurence Jones and guitar virtuoso Kenny Wayne Shepherd will perfom. Shepherd is considered one of the the most successful American blues rock artists since Stevie Ray Vaughan. He has amassed several Grammy nominations, Billboard Music Awards, Blues Music Awards, and also the record for the longest-running album on the Billboard Blues Charts with Trouble Is...! One more act will be confirmed at a later time.
The program on Saturday includes James Hunter, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and The Magpie Salute: is a new band by Black Crowes guitarist Rick Robinson which includes his former Crowes colleagues, guitarist Marc Ford and bassist Sven Pipien. The group is completed by four members of Robinson’s solo band.
Also confirmed on Saturday are Vintage Trouble and Gov't Mule, known for its impressive live reputation. Originally starting out as a side project to the Allman Brothers Band by members Warren Haynes and Allen Woody, Gov’t Mule (‘the Mule’ to fans) is still going strong, albeit nowadays without Woody. Last year saw the release of their latest album, The Tel-Star Sessions.
