Nothing better than starting early: ‘triple threat’ vocalist, songwriter and guitar player Hannah Wicklund founded her band in 2006 - when she was a mere 8 years old. Starting out playing Janis Joplin and Neil Young covers, the band has come a long way, with now over 2,500 shows and three completed albums under their belt. Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin Stones are now known for their blazing guitars and searing vocals and have been billed alongside big acts such as Jefferson Starship, Kansas, and The Marshall Tucker Band. Now 22, Wicklund has been compared to renowned female singers such as Beth Hart, Allanah Myles, Melissa Etheridge, Alanis Morissette, Susan Tedeshi, and Chrissy Hynde. But mostly, she is Hannah Wicklund, whose latest album Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin Stones was released in 2018 and met with rave reviews.
