With a career spanning over five decades, John Fogerty is hailed as one of the most influencial musicians in rock history. He became known as the founder of Creedence Clearwater Revival, for which he was the lead singer, lead guitarist, and principal songwriter. Hit singles such as Proud Mary, Down On The Corner, Bad Moon Rising, and Green River have become absolute classics. After the band disbanded in 1972, Fogerty embarked on solo career. Rolling Stone honored him as one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists, 100 Greatest Songwriters, and 100 Greatest Singers. He wrote his memoir, Fortunate Son: My Life, My Music, which was published in 2015. His latest album, 50 Year Trip: Live At Red Rocks, was released in November 2019.
