BLOOD BROTHERS feat. MIKE ZITO & ALBERT CASTIGLIA

After teaming up with singer Kat Riggins as well as impressing the audience as a last-minute replacement for Beth Hart last year, Mike Zito is coming back to Grolloo. His new project Blood Brothers is a collaboration with another blues rock heavy-weight; fellow singer and guitarist Albert Castiglia. In 2022 they both brought their bands on a combined tour; their album Blood Brothers is in the works and due in January 2023, produced by Joe Bonamassa, who promises: “Mike and Albert finish each other’s sentences musically.” Zito made his name as a solo artist and was part of all-star band Royal Southern Brotherhood. Castiglia started out backing legendary blues musician Junior Wells and singer Sandra Hall before embarking on a solo career. As successful musicians, they are evenly matched: while Zito won the 2022 Blues Music Award for Blues Rock Album, Castiglia took home the BMA for Blues Rock Artist.
