VAN MORRISON AND ERIC GALES COMPLETE HIBF 2019 LINE-UP

The line-up for HIBF 2019 is now complete with the addition Van Morrison and Eric Gales.

Northern Ireland-born legend Van Morrison has always made his own plan when it comes to musical styles, playing music that varies from jazz to Celtic sounds and from blue-eyed soul to folk. However, the raw blues with which he grew up (his teenage idols included Howlin’ Wolf and Sonny Boy Williamson) remains at the heart of his music.

Hailed as a true guitar hero by people in the know, like Joe Bonamassa and Carlos Santana, for instance, Eric Gales is a force to be reckoned with on six strings. He formed the Eric Gales Band in 1991, featuring his brother Eugene on bass. Gales released his latest album, Middle Of The Road, in 2017. Already his fifteenth studio album, the record features guest artists such as Gary Clark Jr. and Lauryn Hill, among others.
