The line-up for HIBF 2018 is now complete with the addition of Jeff Beck, The Marcus King Band Joanna Connor and Joanne Shaw Taylor.

A guitar legend is coming to Grolloo! Jeff Beck is considered one of the best guitar players in the world; he was ranked fifth in Rolling Stone’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”. In his long career, Beck received eight Grammy’s, was inducted in the Rock ’n Roll Hall of Fame twice and worked with many artists, ranging from Mick Jagger to Tina Turner and from Stevie Wonder to Les Paul. His latest release is his 2017 album Live At The Hollywood Bowl, celebrating 50 years in music.

He is still only 21 years of age, but widely recognized as one of the biggest talents in blues. Songwriter, guitarist, singer, and bandleader Marcus King, together with his The Marcus King Band, has already delivered two records: 2015’s Soul Insight and 2016’s The Marcus King Band. After that, he also released an EP, Due North.

Singer, songwriter, and virtuoso guitarist Joanna Connor’s original hometown of Worcester, Massachusetts is seldom named as a blues hotbed, but it was there she developed her love of music. In 2016 she released Six String Stories, her first album in twelve years. Welcome back to the Queen of Blues/Rock Guitar!

British blues rock guitarist and singer Joanne Shaw Taylor has been a force to reckoned with on the blues scene for half her life: she was discovered at age 16. Growing up in England’s Black Country, she was inspired in her early teens to play the blues after hearing musicians such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix. Her latest album, Wild, was released in 2016.
